RPM Package

Definition:

RPM package: A piece of software and all its related files combined into a single file. RPM packages are intended to be installed on a Linux system with the RPM package manager software. Originally used on the Red Hat distribution, RPM eventually spread out to many other Linux distributions and is perhaps the most popular package format.
