Tim Kuntz is a software developer who believes Ruby is a great tool for maximizing programming productivity and fun.

Experience:

Tim has worked as a programmer since 1989 in the financial and retail sectors as both a contractor and corporate employee. While his early work revolved around writing client/server database applications, he was fortunate to have the opportunity to write some early web applications and has spent the majority of his time since then writing enterprise web solutions.

Education:

Tim spent a good portion of his early twenties in school getting a music education and master in music performance degree. After a short stint in the music business, he went back to school to complete a computer science degree. Since then, he has found programming to be as creative a field as music and has never lost the desire to continue learning new skills.

From Apply Now:

Ruby makes programming fun! Or should I say more fun? If you are beginning to learn to program, Ruby is a great place to start because getting from problem to solution takes less steps than in so many other languages. If you have been programming for some time, learning Ruby will breathe some fresh air into your practices. About Ruby is here to provide you with the material you need to move that learning process along. Hopefully, along the way you will recognize Ruby for what it is, a diamond in the rough, a pearl of wisdom, a gem... well, you get the idea.
