With new Rails, there are new Rails books. Here are a few that look promising.
- Beginning Rails 3 - This book teaches Rails from the ground up, using Rails 3 of course. If you already know Rails 2, this might not be the best choice, as you'll be reading through a lot of information you already know. This book is not yet available.
- The Rails 3 Way - An updated version of the very good title "The Rails Way." This title is available via "Rough Cuts" on Safari Books Online.
- Agile Development is Rails - No list is complete without this title. Its fourth edition will cover Rails 3. It's available now as a beta eBook or a Beta-on-Paper book. The final version is due in October.
- Rails 3 In a Nutshell - The "nutshell" series of books from O'Reilly are no-nonsense, cut to the chase, pure information books. This might be your best bet if you already know Rails 2. It's due out in September.
