Rails 3 Release Candidate is Out!

It's almost here.  Rails 3 has been a long time in the works, but it's almost here.  It's down to the last few bugs and then it's 3.0 time.  As alluded to in the announcement, 3.0 is perhaps only weeks away.

But that doesn't mean you have to wait.  This is of course an RC, and is as easy to install as the betas.  A simple gem install rails --pre will do.  Preferably, you'd do this under an RVM instance with a gemset, just in case.
