Rails Magazine, Issue #3, Now Available for Free

The digital edition of the third issue of Rails Magazine is now available for interested readers to download. Like the other issues of the magazine, including its special coverage of RailsConf 2009, the PDF is free. (If you're one those people who prefers to be able to touch the pages, make notes in the margin and store a copy on your bookshelf, you do also have the option of ordering a print edition for a nominal fee.)

The issue, cleverly titled "Nibbling at the Bits," delves into a little bit of everything from theme support to automated testing to interviews with programmers. Of particular note is a transcript of a talk Chris Wanstrath, founder of GitHub, made a meshU. He speaks at length about how using open source helped to build a profitable business.
