Get Ready to Rumble, Rails Style

For those of you who may remember my Twitter-phobia, I'm happy to say that I've promptly gotten over it. Thanks to my new Twitter account (follow me here), I was reminded that tomorrow is the launch of the 2008 Rails Rumble.

It's an awesome 48-hour event in which teams of developers compete to create the best possible web applications in Rails. There are nearly 200 teams competing this year. If you're not a part of them, you can still participate by judging the applications once they've been built. You just have to register to be a judge or you can always follow along at #railsrumble on Freenode. (irc.freenode.net)
