Understanding the Tk Packer

To those new to GUI programming, arranging your widgets without a graphical designer is often mind-bogglingly difficult. To add to that arranging your widgets in a GUI application is often the most difficult part of programming any GUI application. However, even though it may seem complex, the algorithms GUI toolkits use to arrange widgets are often very simple. Tk uses an algorithm called the packer to arrange widgets.
